Inside the Cover...

One of the most comforting yet painful moments in my life will forever be the time I heard my mother call out, "Mom?..."  when she needed my help.

How the book is organized
Our book has been structured to be read as the circumstances warrant.  You and your loved one may be at the beginning of the journey and the first two or three chapters may be all that you feel comfortable with at this time.  You can read more later.
At the end of every chapter is a page for personal reflection.

During the time you are grieving, one thing may be all you can do each day...Here is a post from Chris Renaud-Cogswell...

"My new motto is: "One thing a day."  Sometimes the only thing you can accomplish in one day is removing a few items of clothing from your mother's closet.  It might take you two days to fold and bag them, or it might take a whole week.

"You will chuckle at the fact that there is an entire bag devoted to sweater vests...After placing the bags in the car for donation, you might turn around and pull them right back out again.  A week later, after rescuing a sweater vest you think might make a nice pillow cover, and a skirt you imagine will make a lovely scarf, you ask your husband to carry the bags back out to the care for you.  You drive them to the donation place, take a deep breath, and hand them to the persona accepting donations.   One thing a day.  It's (not) so hard...."
