Our Story

Chris began blogging as an effort to keep her distant relatives caught up with Esther's condition.  Through her witty writing and keen observations, Chris allowed others into her heart and her family home.  As a Licensed Professional counselor specializing in grief work, Tia understood the benefits of sharing difficult emotions during this uncertain time.  But she also recognized that there was much information for family members that was hard to come by.  What if some of these essays and posts could be used to illustrate a book on caregiving?

A phrase I often use as a grief counselor and bereavement specialist: This is a bittersweet time.
